The world’s best job?: Become a chocolate taste tester now
It may be hard to pick a general definition of what the “world’s best job” is … BUT STILL!
It’s no secret that we are (a little too) happy about sweets in our editorial office, and now we’ve found a perfect job for people who share our enthusiasm.
So what do you say about becoming a chocolate taste tester for Simply Chocolate?
The company creates exquisite chocolate in Copenhagen and recently shared a job posting that could fulfill the dream of any chocolate-lover.
“We eat chocolate every day, and our taste buds know the Simply Chocolate-chocolate better than anyone else. Therefore, we need some objective taste buds to challenge our chocolate,” the company states.
The only requirements for the job is that you’ve settled in Denmark, are at least 18 years of age, and can keep the position for 12 months.
“You can have preferences between brands and tastes, but you must want to taste white, dark, and milk chocolate.”
Meet up once, yearly, and go berserk with chocolate
If you’re lucky enough to land the job, you and five others will become part of the Simply Chocolate taste team.
“We meet up physically once every year, where we taste and talk about a lot of chocolate. We round up the day with a lavish chocolate meal created from our excellent chocolates.
In addition to this, the job consists of tasting chocolate 2-3 times a year and answering some questions based on chocolate we send you or that you purchase in your local area (SC covers the costs).
The job is unpaid, but Simply Chocolate covers all costs,” Simply Chocolate writes.
If you are vegan (and therefore don’t eat white or milk chocolate), you are also very welcome to apply – you just have to clearly state in your application that you are applying as a vegan.
If this sounds like something you’d be interested in, send an application to smag@simplychocolate.dk before February 28, 2021.
Write about yourself and your relationship with chocolate in the application. Include what you like, what you don’t like, and why you think you are right for the job.
