The Danish movie DRUK (Another Round) won an Oscar for Best International Feature Film in 2021, and now another domestic movie is vying for the special prize.

Margrete: Queen of the North premiered just a few weeks ago and has already garnered many favorable reviews and has been predicted as a contender for an Oscar.

A conspiracy in the making

Margrete: Queen of the North revolves around the Danish Queen Margrete who ruled Denmark, Sweden, and Norway from around 1380 to 1412.

The movie specifically focuses on the year 1402:
