Three new kitchens and lots of fun: Aalborg Streetfood reveals opening date

There’s finally good news for all of us who have been missing Aalborg StreetFood. 

In a press release, they announced that they will be opening Saturday, May 1, at 11:30.

New kitchens and new facilities

Aalborg SteetFood will open with three new exciting kitchens where we can look forward to a Greek, Indian, and Mexican stand.

Also, they’ve built a karaoke room and three new bakeries and a big playroom for the youngsters as well.

“We are making more initiatives and improving our surroundings for our guests when they are at Aalborg StreetFood. We wish to give families and friends a full day of experiences and offer a large selection of food to enjoy. Besides being a street food market, we would love to be a place of culture just as much.

We have packed our event calendar to the brim with concerts, comedy, lectures, flea markets, conferences, and so much more. A lot is going to happen at Aalborg StreetFood. Therefore we recommend you check out our website because we would hate it if you missed it,” Toni Jørgensen, co-owner of Aalborg StreetFood, says.

100 free goodie bags and music on the terrace

If you’re quick, and you’re among the first 50 people on May 1st or 6th, you’ll be able to enjoy delicious food, drinks, and the beautiful view from the terrace and receive free goodie bags riddled with surprises.

Aalborg StreetFood is opening its doors to outdoor seating on May 1 and indoor seating on May 6.

“We have been working on the terrace for almost a year now, and we are super excited to wish the whole of Aalborg and everything around it a happy welcome. It is going to be fantastic,” Martin Jensen, who led the project with hammer and nails, says.

On the opening days, there will also be free shuffleboard and karaoke all day.

A place with activities all year round

Aalborg StreetFood is a trendy place in the summer season. And it’s understandable why. The street food market has a view of the water, its neighbours the fjordpark and has the biggest outdoor seating in Aalborg and surrounding areas.

However, it’s the intention that Aalborg StreetFood will be open all year round.

“We have experienced a lot of demand in the warmer parts of the seasons, but we intend to become a sought-out place all year round. 

We want to maintain interest by expanding our new bar area (Rust Bar) with shuffleboards, karaoke, and arcade machines.

We hope that people will like the new facilities and that Aalborg StreetFood will become their favourite “go-out” place. 

Also, we have added a rustic and different event hall with space for over 400 people. There are going to be fantastic concerts, lectures, and stand-up shows in and outside the season. We already have many exciting events in our book, for example, Kurt Kragh on November 18. We believe that Aalborg StreetFood can become the new gathering place all year round,” Toni Jørgensen explains.
