Time for shopping: The flea market ‘Lopper på Havnen’ returns this weekend
Winter is approaching rapidly, and while most people are starting to bring out the Christmas spirit from the top shelf, there are also those whose wallets fear the holiday gift rush and new clothes to keep out the cold.
Regardless of which camp you’re in, there is good news.
The ‘Lopper på Havnen’ flea market is back with its ingenious recycling concept, where you have the opportunity to buy clothes at affordable prices.
And you get a unique opportunity to buy a good, inexpensive Christmas present for someone you care about.
‘Lopper På Havnen’ will be held this Sunday, November 19th, from 10:00 to 15:00.
New location
Although it may initially sound like a chilly experience due to the flea market’s usual location by the harbor, it won’t be the case this time.
Some time ago, we could tell the joyful news that the organizers wanted to expand the concept so that the people of Aalborg could sell and buy new items for their wardrobes all year round.
Therefore, they were pleased to announce that they have rented the hall at Nordkraft during the winter months.
“For as long as I’ve had ‘Lopper På Havnen’, I’ve also wanted to keep it indoors so that it’s possible to hold it all year round.
I’ve considered several places, but it just made a lot of sense for us to hold it in Nordkraft.
It’s very central and still close to the harbor, where people have been used to coming,” Michael Kjærgaard, the main organizer behind ‘Lopper På Havnen’, says.
Great success
The idea has been well-received. The first time it was held at Nordkraft, they reported sold-out stands in record time.
The same applies this Sunday, where all stands are also sold out.
Therefore, a large number of visitors are expected when they open the doors for another day in the sign of recycling this Sunday.
Admission is free.
