Jack, Rose and Céline Dion: Titanic musical coming to Aalborg
What if the story of Jack, Rose, and their fateful encounter with the iceberg was not quite what we thought?
In the award-winning musical comedy TITANIQUE, Céline Dion hijacks an otherwise peaceful guided tour of a Titanic museum to reveal the truth about what “really” happened that night.
The legendary ship comes back to life before the audience’s eyes in a sparkling production filled with comedy, glitter, and romance, where nothing is off limits and Céline Dion’s greatest power ballads – including My Heart Will Go On, All By Myself, I’m Alive, and That’s the Way It Is – are given full sail.
The musical will have its Danish premiere at Glassalen in Tivoli this November before immediately setting course for nine cities across Denmark. Aalborg will be the production’s only stop in North Jutland when TITANIQUE drops anchor at Aalborghallen in AKKC on January 16–17, 2027.
An all-star cast on deck
British rising star Caitlin Jane Williams takes on the role of Céline Dion after being selected from more than 400 international singers and musical theatre performers.
She will be joined on stage by a strong Danish cast, including Sicilia Gadborg and Kristoffer Eriknauer as Rose and Jack, Christian Damsgaard as Rose’s mother Ruth, Jesper Lundgaard as the Captain, and Joachim Knop as Rose’s fiancé, Cal.

Sara Gadborg also stars as Molly Brown, while Diluckshan Jeyaratnam plays the singing iceberg – who turns out to be none other than Tina Turner.
Together with a top-class ensemble of singers and dancers, the cast is ready to deliver a performance that will have the audience feeling as though the theatre itself is rocking beneath their feet.
An award-winning audience favourite
The musical was originally created by Tye Blue, Marla Mindelle, and Constantine Rousouli, whose affectionate yet irreverent retelling of James Cameron’s blockbuster has become a global audience success.
Since its Off-Broadway premiere in New York in 2022, the production has played to sold-out audiences in cities including London, Sydney, Toronto, Montreal, and Paris, while collecting numerous prestigious awards along the way.
To carry on that legacy while giving the production its own distinct Danish identity, Lion Musicals has appointed the creative powerhouse duo Kim Ace Schjerlund and Jeff Ace Schjerlund as director and choreographer.

Together, they are ready to bring the international hit safely to Aalborg, where the world’s most famous shipwreck meets Céline Dion’s timeless songs in a production that is impossible not to fall in love with.
The show promises to be a musical lifeline for anyone who loves big emotions, offbeat humour, and songs that go straight to the heart.
