Unbelievably huge: “Vi Elsker” in Aalborg is bigger than ever

The famous music festival, which occurs in seven Danish and three Swedish cities and pays tribute to outstanding Danish international artists of the 90s and 00s, “Vi Elsker 90’erne”, (“We love the 90s”) has changed the festival name to “Vi Elsker Heroes”.
But the name change will not stop the massiveness of the Vi Elsker Tour when it arrives in Aalborg on Saturday, August 19th, 2023.
This year we see a list of legendary hits splashed across the posters.
The festival is sold-out in Rødovre and Esbjerg.
Now people are looking towards Sweden before the festivals arrive in Aalborg after the summer holidays.
The Aalborg event will host several of the biggest hits and names.
Hits from Swedish House Mafia and Avicii
Vi Elsker is showcasing mega-hits like John Martin.
He is especially well-known for his vocals and blockbuster hits with Swedish House Mafia, Avicii, David Guetta, Tinie Tempah, Martin Garrix, and more.
It is these hits, which he co-produced and sang vocals, that he is performing in Aalborg.
Among the ones you can expect are “Don’t you worry child” and “Save the world”.
Then we can raise our hands to Jenny from Ace of Base. She is coming to Aalborg on Saturday, August 19th. You can expect to hear her perform all the big hits from the Swedish group.
It has not been possible to gather the whole group, but you can sing along to hits such as “All that she wants” and “Wheel of Fortune.”
The legendary BassHunter will appear in Aalborg, too, with his smash-hit “Boten Anna”.
In addition, the boys from Boyzlife from Westlife and Boyzone also return to the big stage.
Jon ‘the charming’ returns
Barcode Brothers, Corona (Rhythm of the Night) and Basic Element (Touch you right now) names also splash the poster and billboards.
The very charming Jon Nørgaard is also part of this year’s Vi Elsker Heroes Tour.
It will be a massive 13-hour party at Dyrskuepladsen in City Syd this summer.
Jon Nørgaard is mainly known for his mega-hit “Right Next to You”, but he is also recorded and produced other big hits you will know, like “Turn the Lights Off” and “Love changes everything”.
When Jon reached his 15th anniversary in Danish music in 2017, he celebrated by giving a series of concerts.
The plan included a concert in Copenhagen and Aarhus, but when they were sold out quickly, he held two more, and those extra concerts also all sold out. So we expect fans to line up once again.
Gaffa signed off with five stars, and with Jon’s enthusiasm through these concerts, his stardom continues to shine.
