Weather change on the way: Here’s the forecast for Aalborg Carnival

There is one day a year when the weather determines how your day will be: Aalborg Carnival.

We always hope for sunshine, light wind, and moderate temperatures while crossing our fingers that the rain stays away.

The Whitsun holidays have been kind to us.

Summer has truly arrived in Aalborg with clear skies, sunshine, and temperatures well above 20 degrees Celsius.

And as we return to everyday life, the summer weather continues in the same vein. At least for a few days…

Rain and showers on the way to Aalborg

We contacted the on-duty meteorologist at DMI to get the status of the weather forecast for the next few days – especially Saturday’s.

According to him, a weather change is on the way.

More clouds will hit Denmark, and on Thursday, both rain and showers will come to Aalborg.

“On Thursday, the fine sunny weather will be replaced by clouds and rain. This will continue until Friday. And here, the high temperatures, which have been nicely above 20 degrees, will also end,” Henning Gisselø says.

Fortunately, it will clear up during Friday.

There will be more clouds over the weekend than we have been used to, but there will only be a few light showers.

Saturday, temperatures will be around 20 degrees, and therefore, according to Henning Gisselø, the weather will be quite reasonable for the carnival.
