Comedy, wine and markets: What’s on in Aalborg this April

April has arrived, and the city is slowly starting to come back to life. The days are getting longer, and spring can truly be felt.
Fortunately, there’s plenty to do in Aalborg in April. In this guide, we’ve gathered inspiration for what you can experience in the city throughout the month.
It’s packed with experiences ranging from markets and Easter events to comedy shows and festivals.
The events are listed according to when they take place.
Easter Holiday in Aalborg

We’ve put together a full guide to fun and cozy activities happening during Easter in Aalborg.
The program includes everything from Easter egg hunts and a flower festival to markets and playlands.
Easter Lunch on Egholm

Spring has truly arrived when Restaurant Kronborg opens its doors on the idyllic island of Egholm.
As tradition dictates, the restaurant opens during Easter, where guests can look forward to cozy surroundings and great dining experiences – just a short (and pleasant) ferry ride from Aalborg.
This year, the Easter lunch is served as social dining directly at the table, with dishes arriving in several servings. The menu features classic favorites such as herring, eggs with shrimp, salmon, tartlets, and plaice, of course rounded off with a sweet dessert.
The Easter lunch is served from March 28 to April 6, and there are also options for children’s dishes for the little ones.
In addition to the Easter lunch, the start of the season also offers popular concepts such as giant tartlets, all-you-can-eat pork, and steak evenings. Perfect if you want to combine a trip to Egholm with a great meal.
