Winter break treats: Aalborg bakery offers free bags of treats for children

In Aalborg, week 8 means winter break. Finding suitable activities for the kids this week is a challenge for many parents, especially since vacation spots and larger events are canceled this year.

The Othello Bakery (Othello Bageriet) in Christiansgade is celebrating the winter break by offering children a treat bag with a crispy cookie and a chocolate bun – completely free. 

“We’re excited and looking forward to seeing lots of children this week,” the bakery writes on Facebook.

You can get a free children’s bags anytime this week – until all the bags are gone of course.

The bakery by Christiansgade 35 refers to itself as “Aalborg’s Best Bakery” – and is really one of the few left in the classic sense of a bakery.

Besides the free children’s bags, the bakery always offers a selection of bread and cakes.
