Sneakers have definitely become one of the must-haves in fashion everywhere in the world and – if you ask us – it’s one of the most important parts of an outfit.
Aalborg has a lot to choose from in the sneaker-department: The city is filled with amazing stores, and we’ll try and make it easier for you to find that specific shoe you’re looking for.
Whether it’s to look cool or feel cool, we know where to look!
Below, we’ve gathered the top 7 sneaker stores in Aalborg; ranging from large department stores like Magasin to local streetwear shops like Streetammo.

Rezet Sneaker Store
Rezet sneaker store, located on Østerågade 2, is more or less a brand new shop, having opened in September 2019.
Rezet has lots of different brands including Nike, Adidas, Asics, Puma, and New Balance. They focus on offering a more casual fashion type of shoes that are suitable for every occasion.
If you choose to visit Rezet, you can expect to spend around 800 – 900 kr for a nice pair of shoes. If you don’t fancy any of their shoes at the time, you’re in luck because they get new stock twice a week with a few new styles.
Is the pricetag a little too steep, wait until November 23-27 where they’re running a “Black Week” with great offers.

Streetammo
Streetammo is located on Boulevarden, and as its name suggests, it’s a great place to visit if you’re into streetwear, skate shoes, or casual shoes.
Streetammo especially focuses on skateboarding shoes with brands like Nike SB(Skateboard), Adidas, and Vans.
They aim to offer unique shoes that you can’t find anywhere else. An example is the Nike SB Dunk Low “Grateful Dead”, which is a very exclusive shoe costing around 8.500 kr (these specific shoes are for viewing only and not for sale).
But don’t be scared away! Not all of Streetammos shoes cost that much. You can expect to be paying around 700 – 1000 kr on a nice pair of shoes. They get new shoes every week as well so there’s plenty to take in.
Streetammo is like many other stores having a “Black Week” instead of a “Black Friday” in order to adhere to the Covid-19 restrictions.

Teeshoppen
Teeshoppen is also located on Boulevarden and is perfect for those who’re looking for a more classic sneaker.
Their main shoe brand is Duck Denmark, which was actually founded by the store’s founder when he left school in ninth grade.
Both Duck Denmark and the other brands they carry have a more simple shoe design that is suitable for every day wear, parties, birthdays, and on the job. With plans to extend their shoe collections in the future, they’re one to look out for.
Expect to be walking out with a nice pair of shoes for a price of just 599 kr. That price can even be lower as they’re currently sporting a discount of 50% on select shoes.
From November 20 to the end of the month, they’re also hosting a “Black Week” with special offers.

Skoringen
On one of Aalborg’s main shopping streets, Bredegade, you will find Skoringen. Skoringen offers more classic shoes for everyday wear.
Their selection is very seasonal as they specialize in boots during the winter and sandals in the summer while sneakers stay in stock year-round.
They get new shoes every day, and you can expect to spend 600 – 800 kr in average on a pair of shoes with some being as cheap as 400 kr and others costing 1600 kr.

SKECHERS
Right beside Skoringen on Bredegade is the American footwear store SKECHERS.
SKECHERS have their own shoe brand, coincidentally named SKECHERS that is known for their great comfort and athletic look. Their shoes will cost you around 800 – 900 kr.
Their style vary as seasons change but that means you’re almost sure to find something you like.
While they can’t reveal too much about specific offers yet, the store did disclose that they’re having a “Black Week” filled with offers.

Salling
Right in the heart of Aalborg, you’ll find the department store Salling, which has one of the biggest selections of shoes in Aalborg.
These shoes range from classics like Lloid and Ecco to more streetwear and skater shoes like Vans, Arkk, Puma, and Fila.
Salling too is affected by Covid-19 and has experienced a lack of deliveries and thus wares. Luckily, they’re still able to stock up on new shoes regularly with fall being one of the most important seasons.
The sneakers are affordable too, and you won’t have to bankrupt yourself to get a nice pair; a brand new pair of shoes lies around a price range of 1000 kr.
While Salling can’t disclose any particular offers, they are planning on having a big sale during their “Black Friday Week”.

Magasin
And finally, we have Magasin – a newer shopping center located close to Salling on Nytorv. This is also a very good choice if you’re looking for many different styles of sneakers, although they do lean more towards casual shoes and boots.
Magasin also has lots of different brands including ones like Puma, Asics, Arkk, Adidas, New Balance, and Fila. Their shoes are also very seasonal, and they restock often.
With a nice pair of casual sneakers costing you around 700 kr and up, you won’t be dissatisfied (or broke).
