Amazing news: Popular burger bar reopens

by Ashton Christensen

More than 500 comments from unhappy locals of Aalborg made it clear that it was a day of sorrow when Burger Go closed down in 2022.

The reasons for the closure included the impact of COVID-19 lockdowns and skyrocketing energy prices.

Fortunately, the pandemic is now behind us, and prices for energy and produce have reached a more bearable level.

All these facts lead us to the simply wonderful news: Burger Go has reopened!

Same concept

The former owner, Nam T. Nguyen, is also involved in the resurrection of Burger Go.

“I had started a new job, but I was contacted by a former loyal customer who was always passionate about our concept and burgers.

He offered to relaunch it and asked if I would be willing to assist him in the background. And I said “Let’s do it”,” Nam explains.

Therefore, the new owner of Burger Go is Elie Yammine, while Nam remains in the background, ensuring that everything runs as smoothly as before.

“We are sticking to the exact same concept. We have delicious Himmerlands patties, homemade dressing, and high-quality ingredients,” he says.

So, everything that Aalborg has known and loved Burger Go for remains the same. The only difference is the price.

“Unfortunately, everything is more expensive, and therefore, we have had to raise our prices as well. We hope that people will understand,” Nam adds.

Love from locals

When Nam received the offer from Elie to reopen Burger Go, it didn’t take him long to say yes. He knew that they were missed in Aalborg and wanted to bring back the beloved establishment.

“There were so many sad people when we closed. The love Aalborg has for us has given us the motivation to start again,” Nam elaborates.

Burger Go has opened on the same address: Ved Stranden 11B.

The opening hours will be from Monday to Thursday and Sunday, from 12:00 to 9:00, and Friday to Saturday, from 12:00 to 5:00.
