There is good news for all Spice Girls fans!
It’s time to ‘Spice Up Your Life‘ with the wildest ‘Wannabe’ show you have ever seen.
An ultimate girl power evening is coming your way when the new Wannabe – The Spice Girls Show performs at Aalborg Congress & Culture Center (AKKC).
“The festive evening kicks off on Saturday, March 23rd, 2024, where you can sing along to all the famous Spice Girls classics,” AKKC writes in a press release.
A tribute to the Spice Girl generation
Did you prefer Baby, Posh, Sporty, Scary or Ginger when the Spice Girls broke through and toured the world with countless hits?
Either way, you’re in for a 90’s blast of the past when Wannabe – The Spice Girls Show takes the stage at AKKC’s Europa Hall on March 23rd at 20:00.
Of course, it’s a standing concert so the audience can let loose, dance and sing to the songs we grew up with.
In 2024, it will be exactly 30 years since the Spice Girls were created.
Wannabe – The Spice Girls Show celebrates the Spice Girls generation, girl power and the era’s fierce acceptance of difference in a unique concert experience featuring the greatest hits and highlights from the Spice Girls era.
Be ready to sing along to hits like Wannabe, Say You’ll Be There, Spice Up Your Life, Stop, 2 Become 1 and many, many more.
Hand-picked performers on stage
Wannabe – The Spice Girls Show presents hand-picked, professional, Danish performers who have all fallen in love with the Spice Girls and not least the roles of Ginger, Sporty, Baby, Posh, and Scary.
It’s the owner and Executive Producer at Winkler Productions, Lasse Winkler, who is the organizer of the new show, and he has great ambitions.
“The show “Wannabe” is a huge tribute to the Spice Girls, the entire universe around the girls and everything they have helped create. It’s the music, the community, the clothes, the parties, and everything we associate with the Spice Girls.
It’s these kinds of original music events that give you the chance to reconnect and hear your favorite songs in a fresh and exciting way,” Lasse Winkler says.
Took the world by storm
The Spice Girls were formed in 1994 and consisted of five members: Melanie Brown, Melanie Chisholm, Emma Bunton, Geri Halliwell, and Victoria Beckham.
The Spice Girls are officially the biggest and best-selling girl band of all time, having sold more than 85 million records worldwide.
Their 1996 debut single was Wannabe, which is still eagerly played today – as are many of their other hits.
The stage will be set for an evening of 90’s nostalgia and sing along as Wannabe – The Spice Girls Show makes its way past Aalborg next year.
The ticket price is 340 kr,- including fees, and there is a limited amount of Study Tickets which grants a 50% discount for students.
