Award-winning Danish drama: Watch DRUK with English subtitles in the cinema
A theory states that humans should have been born with a small amount of alcohol in our blood because modest inebriation opens our minds to the world, diminishing our problems and increasing our creativity.
Encouraged by this theory, Martin and three of his friends – all weary high school teachers – start an experiment where they aim to maintain a constant level of intoxication throughout their workday.
Such is the plot of the new but already award-winning Danish movie DRUK (Another Round) by Thomas Vinterberg, which stars Mads Mikkelsen, Thomas Bo Larsen, Lars Ranthe, and Magnus Millang.
Daily screenings
Are you eager to once again sink into the red, plushy seats of the cinema and munch on popcorn, you’ll be happy to hear that DRUK is screening on a daily basis starting on Thursday.
DRUK is in Danish but after numerous requests, the local art cinema Biffen has decided to screen the star-studded movie with English subtitles so internationals can keep up as well.
Tickets are 95 kr and have to be purchased online or in-person in the cinema.
