READY? SET, BATHE!

In a press release, Kunsten announced that they will be kicking off the bathing season with their traditional Big Bathing Day.

This year, the event will feature even more of a children’s festival atmosphere with creative flower creatures, delicious barbecue food, and free ice cream.

Mark your calendar for June 17th at 11:00 because that’s when the Big Bathing Day kicks off, and there’s plenty to look forward to.

What to look forward to

The day will be hosted by DR star, rapper, and actor, Chapper, who will oversee the official opening of the city’s funniest and most unpredictable fountain.

Kunsten invites the whole family to enjoy a day filled with delicious barbecue, a lively children’s festival atmosphere, and entertaining activities.

Kunstens chef, Thomas, will be taking to the park to prepare a selection of barbecue specialties, sausage rolls, and pizza rolls that are sure to tantalize your taste buds.

Once you’ve worked up an appetite, you can explore the park, attend a Creativitarium workshop and create your own imaginative flower creatures, transform yourself into an art piece at the face-painting station, or challenge your mom to a game of garden games.

As a special treat, there will be one free Filur ice cream per child, as long as supplies last.

The Big Bathing Day event is free of charge for those who have paid for entry into the museum. Persons under the age of 18 are always free. Additionally, purchasing an annual pass to Kunsten provides access for a whole year for both the pass holder and a companion.

This means that two parents and their children can enjoy entry to Kunsten, Utzon Center, and Louisiana, as well as a range of family activities for just 425 kroner.

The event is supported by Spar Nord.

The program:

On June 17th, the fun begins at 11:00 in the park. Once the show with Chapper has ended, they invite children and those young at heart to jump into the fountain.

Here, water jets shoot up from the fountain, providing plenty of laughs, giggles, and thrills for everyone.
