Peep, peep, peep … Easter is around the corner.

And, of course, Easter shall be celebrated! If there is one place where you can fulfill your wildest Easter fantasies, it’s at the cozy ‘Fru Rønne’ on Reberbansgade.

Fru Rønne offers a wonderland of specialties ranging from exquisite coffee to cozy tea, fancy chocolates, and hundreds of others.

But until Easter, it will be even harder choosing what to bring home or enjoy in the cozy café.

Mrs Rønne has gone crazy with many sinful, tempting, and beautiful Easter treats.

MUST try Easter treats

The two temptations we expect will be big sellers this Easter arrived on Wednesday.

Mrs Rønne is selling their irresistible flødeboller (marshmallow fluff covered in chocolate) and truffles (… also known as rum balls) from the Chocolate Basket and the Truffle Factory in Thy.

They have each created their own take on the perfect Easter treat.

In one corner of the ring, you will find Trøfleriet’s newest star in the truffle sky in the form of their ‘Skildpadde’ truffle, which – as the name reveals – is filled with the most delicious Skildpadde filling.

Skilpadde chocolate is a small turtle-shaped chocolate with caramel filling.

Of course, it is also filled with the classic truffle mixture and coated with white chocolate, obviously colored yellow, for the holiday season. On top, you’ll find a chocolate ring with sprinkles.

If you’re a Skildpadde-fan, you’ll love this version with the all-so-popular and attention-stealing caramel.

If you aren’t into Skildpadde, fear not, as Fru Rønne’s cake monster is filled with treats from Trøfleret in the variants: Cappuccino, Vanilla, Strawberry, Toffee, Nougat, Caramel and Champagne.

The chocolate Easter basket includes delicious selections and ultimate snacks and goest by the simplest name ever: Påske (Easter)

The Easter-flødebolle’s base is made of oat flakes, dipped in dark chocolate, and filled with vanilla fluff and passionfruit ganache. The treat is also covered in white chocolate, colored yellow, and topped with passionfruit dust.

It might sound crazy but you feel like you’re “taking a bite out of Easter” as you indulge in a childhood treat.

The combination of a crispy base, vanilla and the wildest passionfruit-ganache … is atypical but puts an elegant spin on a delicious Easter treat and creates a feeling of Spring.

Our absolute favorite … if we have to decide!

Find Fru Rønne on Reberbansgade 1.
