Successful restaurateur in charge: A new Asian restaurant is opening in Aalborg

Catch Sushi Bar opened back in 2020 and has since then grown to be one of the city’s most popular restaurants.

Now MyAalborg can reveal that the trio behind Catch will open another restaurant in town.

On the corner of Strandejen and Vesterå, more exactly Vesterå 17, Xuan Thanh Ngo, Vi Pham, and Zhenbin are opening a brand new eatery: Alleys.

Alleys will be an Asian a la carte restaurant bringing the busy streets of Asia all the way here to Aalborg.

“We serve Pan-Asian (note: which refers to all of Asia) food. Guests can look forward to authentic flavors from Asia’s many amazing cuisines,” Director Vi Pham tells MyAalborg.

Craftsmen are currently transforming the premises into a state-of-the-art restaurant where the interior design will be a fusion of Asian cultural elements and the Nordic style, also seen from Catch Sushi Bar. 

The plan is currently to open in May.

Taste top-notch across Asia 

Alley’s will seat around 50 guests, and it will also be possible to order most of the dishes as a takeaway.

“We make a point of using only the freshest ingredients that meet our high standards. In addition, we hired passionate street chefs from Asia to ensure that all dishes are authentic and full of flavor,” Vi Pham promises.

Alleys will serve the most popular dishes from Asian cuisines. You can look forward to everything from Japanese ramen, pho and spring rolls from Vietnam, and deep fried chicken from Korea.

In addition to many tasty dishes, there will also be a big focus on cocktails at the city’s new Asian restaurant.

“Our cocktail menu will be inspired by different Asian cultures and ingredients that will create unique and special flavors,”  Vi Pham says.

You can enjoy special signature cocktails from Asia as well as the good old classic cocktails.

Happy Hour prices will start on weekdays from 20:00 to closing, but on weekends you can indulge in delicious cocktails at bargain prices from 20:30 to closing.

Alleys will be open every day from 12:00 – 00:00.
