Opening date announced: Pincho Nation opens in Aalborg
In May, we revealed that the Swedish restaurant concept, Pincho Nation, planned to open on the corner of Ved Stranden and Jomfru Ane Gade (in the old ‘Red Light’ building).
And now there is finally news about the opening.
Pincho Nation, known for its circus-inspired service concept, opens on November 25th.
A record number of people want to try the restaurant
While the craftsmen have been busy getting the location ready, the new restaurant has set a record for the number of people that have signed up on the booking list, which gives pre-access to table reservations.
Friday, 25th of November, will be the first official opening day for the new Pincho Nation restaurant, which is located on the corner of Ved Stranden and Jomfru Ane Gade.
The restaurant has room for 115 guests, who can order food from all across the globe and pair it with colorful cocktails through the Pincho Nation app.
Originally, they had aimed to be ready to open at the end of September, but the renovation of the premises has taken a little longer than expected.
“We would rather be 100 percent ready than open too soon and being faced with potential challenges as a result of the rush.
We are very much looking forward to inviting the people of Aalborg inside and showing off what Pincho Nation is, and that it is definitely worth having waited for,” Flemming Christophersen, CEO/Partner in Pincho Nation Denmark, says.
2,700 on the booking list
Pincho Nation has created a waiting list that you can sign up for if you want to be among the first to reserve a table. It will be possible for registered guests to book a table from the afternoon of Friday, 11th of November.
Registered guests will receive an email that day with information on how to do so.
As many as 2,700 have signed up for the list, which gives you access to book a table two weeks before the opening day. It’s a new record – not just in Denmark, but for the entire Pincho Nation chain.
“2,700 is a very nice number. This tells us that people are curious and fresh to try something new here in Aalborg.
We think there is a good match between us and the city, and we are investing a lot in creating a sustainable foundation for the future,” Flemming Christophersen, CEO/Partner in Pincho Nation Denmark, explains.
Pincho Nation is also opening a new restaurant in Randers, which will open on Friday, 11th of November.
